Yas Marina Walkway Roof
Continuous tensile membrane walkway connecting marina restaurants. Engineered for 160 km/h wind loads with discreet drainage and night-time uplighting integrated into the masts.
Project Overview
Stretching 220 metres along the Yas Marina edge, this continuous tensile walkway shades the F&B promenade between the harbour's anchor restaurants. The 3,500 sqm membrane is supported by a rhythm of twin-mast modules, each engineered for 160 km/h wind loads. Discreet internal channels manage rainfall away from foot traffic, while linear LED strips concealed at the mast bases wash the membrane in warm light, doubling the structure's usability into the evening service period.
