Project Overview
Covering 9,200 sqm above the seating bowl of a regional sports complex, this long-span PTFE membrane roof was engineered to deliver consistent shade for spectators while preserving the open-air atmosphere of competition. The geometry was wind-tunnel tested to confirm pressure distribution under extreme gust conditions, and a perforated lining beneath the main membrane provides acoustic damping for amplified events. The 25-year membrane warranty was a critical procurement requirement for the sports council, met by a PVDF top-coat with a 30-year service-life track record.
