Project Overview
A compact 95 sqm bioclimatic pergola crowns this Al Reem Island penthouse, balancing intimate scale with full panoramic skyline views. The structure was custom-engineered to the building's existing balcony loading limits, using a thinner-than-standard aluminium profile that disappears against the skyline. Side panels in low-iron glass keep wind off the dining area without compromising sightlines, and the whole system links into the apartment's smart-home controller — louvres, lighting and screens responding automatically to weather data feeds.
